I also took prednisone to treat eczema. It was only a short course of treatment: 40mg a day for 12 days, and then 20mg for 3 days. My eczema was under control within a few days.

One month later my hair started growing back .... after being AU for 5 years. The regrowth was short lived though. After another month my regrowth stopped, and the little I had began to fall out again.

 

Dermovate is a superpotent steroid. I would be concerned about using that alongside oral prednisone. I would only use both simultaneously under a doctor’s supervision.

Hi , have you ever taken Dermovate by itself ? How were your results ?

I took Prednisone 2 years ago and I had all my hair back but the moment I stopped it I lost my hair again. It's a very strong pill. You have to do blood test every month. I recommend you that don't take them.

I would be interested to hear what dosage you took, and how long before your hair started coming back.

I don't remember exactly bc it was long time ago. I was taking not only prednisone but also methotrexate. I did blood test every month. I was losing my hair when I took those pills but as soon as I stopped them I lost all of my hair.

Hi. I used Dermovate by itself (as a topical cream) to treat eczema . Was never that effective for me. 

Protopic (tacrolimus) on the other hand was very effective.
