Hi all,
I just wanted to get some support as I have been dealing with a lot of resentments lately. I resent the peach fuzz on my face, I resent women who flaunt their gorgeous hair, I resent the fact that I have to answer questions and try to make people feel comfortable.
I assume these resentments are just part of the territory. But I would love to hear some of your tricks for adjusting your attitude!
Thanks,
Wendy

Don't worry about it, you're the most gorgeous bald chick I've ever seen!
Feelings of resentment are fleeting and normal. When I first saw how utterly adorable you are, I had an instant pang of sadness that I could never look as sweet as you, hair or not! But really, I'm just glad for you. We all work with what we have to allow us to first cope and then thrive. We all just have different things.
I get very very jealous too.
Hello Wedizzle
I remember when my daughter first lost her hair (she had very long, blonde curly hair). I went to see Lord of the Rings and one of the characters had my daughters hair (well, not really but something very similar). It did make me uncomfortable and sad....why her...why us? But you can't stay in that place for too long. Resentment about the reality of the situation just hurts you. I understand how you feel but hope you find your way to a good place, where you don't feel like this any longer.
