So I do wear wigs, and now that I aged out of Locks of Love, I now resort to wearing soft open wefted wigs (I'm still learning wig lingo and words and such) so I have no idea how to describe what I use, but my current wig is a JR wig, was able to find it for a cheap cheap price, but is extremely comfortable on my scalp.
I find my biggest struggle to be is my scalp breaking out, especially when throughout the day as I wear my wig, even if I'm not being active, that I get a very oily greasy scalp, and at the end of the night, I will come to find pimples, acne, zits, blackheads, IDK what to call them. I always have people asking me why I choose to wear wigs, well, that's my way of accepting my alopecia.
I don't mind going outside my house when doing yardwork or even being at my parents and not wearing my hair, but I am extremely self conscious about my scalp and how it looks. Acne yano, it just aint pretty. I have tried different things to help reduce the breakouts, I have even tried my acne face wash on my scalp and see no changes. I've also tried to put a loose powder on my scalp before putting my wig on to keep my scalp dry, but i still seem to be quite a bit oily when I get home.
I want to find a good way to help relieve the breakouts I get, and if possible, a home remedy that could help. Any help, suggestions, advice will be appreciated! :)

I do wash my head every day. My scalp seems to breathe pretty good through my wig (which is a Jon Renau one) but I still, not sweaty, but get oily throughout the day. I've been putting baby powder on my scalp every day before I put my hair on, but if it's a warmer day, it lasts maybe an hour. But through the first while of applying it, my scalp does stay pretty dry, until my pores become the amazon river.
As for my head breakouts, I've seen some people who have had folliculitis, but I feel like even if I went to my doctors about it, they wouldnt have any idea what to do about it/prescribe for it because theres not many people around my area that have alopecia, so it seems like they dont have much experience beyond me and my sister. But i do use a face wash on my scalp, not a lot, just a Greart Value walmart brand. im on a very limited budget so I can't afford fancy face scrubs and such. I sometimes see that it does help though. I'm trying to get into a habit at night though of doing a face wash at night, and doing a little on my scalp.
