Alright guys, I know this may sound weird, and I really hope I'm not the only one who has this problem, but wearing a wig all the time, it gets dry, and I get some pretty bad I guess, pimples, on my head, because it is being covered up all day long. I've tried a ton of products from Walmart, and nothing seems to work. After a few days, some even start to scab up. It gets really irritating especially since I also wear a hat to bed when i sleep with my bf because im really embarrassed about it.Any thoughts and suggestions or advice on what products I should use? (PS: Currently I use a neutrogena acne face wash and just use it on my head as well, but i never see results)

I highly recommend using LUSH Cosmetics stuff :) They have all natural clay based facial cleansers that can also be used on the body! They have an awesome Spot treatment called Grease Lightning that helps to treat and sooth pimples. Plus they don't have all the chemicals that drug store cleansers have. The head is sensitive and I too have recently been getting little pimples on my head, mostly on my bald spot areas. I think it might be from the shots but not so sure. If you have a shop near you, you can go in and get samples for free and test it out first.
I think it's related to the pressure of the fabric or metal under the fabric on the wig. I'm having the same problem. In fact, I only noticed it after trying a wig on from the wig store. Now I'm afraid to even wear the wig (bought two). I want to throw them away.
I've been using the same product for the body, but have not tried it on my scalp. I notice the bumps on my hairline or anyware the wig rubs against my scalp (where the band is, or where the elastic is . .) The bumps seem to go away for a day or so, but then are back after about the 2nd or 3rd day.
My next step will be to try benzoyl peroxide.
Does anyone know about cystic acne because sometimes the bumps are hard and hurt. They not usually larger than a pen head.
Is it possible to become allergic to the wigs after wearing them for years?
