Silica?

I was just wondering if anyone's had any success with taking silica for hair loss? I have AA and I read that silica can help, so I bought a good one in the health shop and have taken if religiously for 4 weeks (i know results are meant to be seen after 10weeks though).
If anyone knows anything could you let me know please :)

My feelings are there is a lot of stuff that may help us get some hair back, but there's nothing to stop it falling out again.

I did try it for a couple of days, but unfortunately I was allergic to it so I could not use it any more.
