I also had these injections on and off over a period of twenty years ,I found my hair grew back in the area that was injected only to fall out elsewhere creating another bald patch , hence a vicious circle of injections every 6 weeks , however I found while pregnant with both my children my alopecia went into remission. However when it came back again I made the decision not to continue with the injections and over a period of weeks Ilost all my hair . For the last 12years Ihave been bald , I intially found this very hard to accept I had been a hairdresser for 25 years , and ended up giving up the job I loved, because I felt so self concious wearing a wig .What I would say to anyone embarking on this journey is you will have good days and bad days... you may never like it but you will learn to accept it as part of you, eventually you may start to appreciate how much time you save in the mornings and the fact you never really have a bad hair day .Make the most of your life and don't let Alopecia define you
