Still so confused. Does anyone know if they can diagnose AU? Does a biopsy show this?

I was told I have Androgenic Alopecia. The biopsy confirmed this. If I go back to a Dr, will they be able to diagnose AU? I started losing eyebrows and eyelashes in beginning of Feb. Not slowly down and still have lots of hair on my head. I feel like the eyebrows and eyelashes are going pretty quick. If you do have AU, would I see new growth? I see some regrowth in eyebrows and I know eyelashes take a long time to grow in. So lost and can't hearing all different things.
