If you find out any information please pass it on. My 14 y/o daughter is recently diagnosed and we also live in Michigan. Would love to have some other teen support.

Check out the Children's Alopecia Project. www.childrensalopeciaproject.org. They a have several chapters throughout the country.

Hi Debbie,

I am a parent of a 5 year old with alopecia we are traveling to Pens. on Aug. 19th I will meet Betsy (founder of CAP) for the first time. I have been in contact with her about starting a support group in MI we also live here in Troy (Oakland County) my goal is to have our first support meeting by the end of September so we can see how school is going for all of the kids and offer them support. I hope to get things up and running right after I meet her if you are interested in attending or helping to plan events I would love to talk to you more about this. I hope to talk to you soon.

Michigan now has a childrens alopecia project chapter check out the website childrensalopeciaproject.org and click on the Michigan link to see the next event on October 23rd in Royal Oak, MI at Beaumont's administrative Building
