Check out Shully Wigs in Brookyln. They have website too. Please feel free to friend me and I would be glad to share with you what you need to be looking for and what to ask for before you contact them. Being informed is critical to getting what you want and what makes you happy in the end.
Joseph Paris - midtown. Expensive, but good pieces. Like $5,000.
I get mine at Phil Marano hair design in Scarsdale. A lot cheaper. I also live in CT, so this is pretty close. His pieces are around $2,000. Vinny is the guy's name. They do the saran wrap - scotch tape method of fitting, and it takes a few weeks to get one (but then, afterwards, not as long, if you want a replacement).
