Hi Guys,

I am a male.

I have had AU for a few years now but I have been taking Xeljanz  for a couple of years and and a good portion of my hair is back. The issue is most of the regrowth was when I was on 1.5-2x dose and my stomach can no longer tolerate going on extra dosage. I get sick almost right away. I have thrown up numerous times as well when on higher dosages, but my blood work and other tests are fine.

My hair on my sides are all fine and most of my hair in the front is back, but it is a bit thinner than before and there are some parts that aren't fully back in the middle to back end.

I was also taking Rogaine prior to my Alopecia because I was having male pattern baldness as well. (I am doing some research as well to see if it is worth taking Rogaine again. I had stayed away from doing it because I was considering shaving my head, but I don't see the harm).

I can get around this with just a little bit of hair fibers and I use hairspray a bit (if the day is windy) to try to keep it in place

My crown is the real issue. There is a big patch there and I am not sure it will really ever grow back as I don't grow much hair on single dosage, just maintains.

I usually use hair fibers to cover it when I want to go out, but its not perfect, a hassle, and it worries me a bit when it comes to dating.

I was considering getting a hair topper for my crown, but the hair specialist said the topper would be better off for my front part as well b/c some areas are thin and it would look better/more even I guess.

Any thoughts or anyone in a similar situation?

Would posting pics here help?

Thanks
