I know this is a very old topic. But how did the ladies that tried this alternative treatment fare?
Did you find any difference ultimately?
Hey Melbournite!
I made a really long post on alternative treatments!
I just realized this was such an old topic.
So I have to disagree with people here saying that if dermatologists knew they would tell us. I did a whole study on the AMA and because of strong pharmaceutical lobbying (in the U.S.) the American Doctor's Association makes it illegal for a dermatologist to suggest "natural" healing methods that differ from altering your diet, exercise, etc. It's not the doctor's fault, but they could possibly lose their jobs over this. My old dermatologist actually suggested holding on to faith to me, because she maintained the belief that prayer heals. However, she told me quickly not to tell anyone she said that because of the reasons I already mentioned above.
Coming to the second thing about autoimmune diseases being incurable and the suffering being permanent, I disagree. I suffered from SEVERE eczema all over my body as a child. From the age of one to four. My parents took me to all the doctors they could think of so I would stop bleeding from all my open wounds. Nothing worked. Then they took me to a "hakeem" (In Pakistan, they have healers who only use herbal medicines, etc.) and I am living proof that eczema is not permanent. My fiance's baby niece has eczema and she's suffering at the hand's of American doctors who tell her nothing can be done.
I think one shouldn't lose hope, but they also shouldn't dwell on recovery. Try natural treatments, you never know they may work. I personally use blackseed oil for an hour befor I wash my scalp, and it's been working.
Long story short, I haven't tried onion juice but I've read great things about it in several places from people who have tried it. I have also heard that rubbing ginger on your scalp helps. I did it for a while but got lazy and gave up after a week. Ginger can be juiced and doesn't smell bad on hair. I know their was a acupuncture study done about ginger and acupuncture and AA and I believe it was effective. You might want to try looking that up.
I wish you well.
Thanks for your response Maddiiboo :-)
Hello every one, there is very promising news on the horizon in the microbiology world concerning Lform and biofilm form bacterial overgrowth within the human body and its direct correlation to inflamitory autoimunual diseases of all types. The studies show unmistaken connections between inflamitory diseases in the human body and internal biofilm bacteria that resides within the body gone undetected by current testing. Biofilm and Lform bacteria are the cause of all autoimmunal diseases the articles posted below show this. If interested please read the articles, personally I owe it to myself to read up on this current break through information. we are all victims of this current situation. If you wish to read the article just go to www.bacteriality.com and read Dr. Randalls discoveries on biofilm bacteria.
and also check out the Marshall protocol websites google Dr.Trevor Marshall or google the marshall protocol. I hope this information consoles every one who reads it in some way.
If you believe in this movement please let the word out contact your primary care physicians and inform them of this breakthrough information give them the websites so they can read the published articles and read about the current conferences and currently ongoing human trials in effect.
Would the onion juice work for someone who has a hereditary issue with thinning hair? My mother has the same issue, really bad, and I feel I am losing more hair every day. I took vitamins, tried Regain, and nothing seems to work. The problem is making me avoid socializing with people because I am so embarrassed with my scalp easily seen due to hair loss. I read about saw palmetto, and I just ordered it, not sure if it will help my problem. I am also losing hair from my eyebrows. If you have any helpful suggestions, please let me know.
