Hi Guys,

I am a male and I have had AU for a few years, but now a majority of my hair on the front is back with the help of Xeljanz. The crown on the back of my head is still pretty bad and I use hair fibers when going out.

My hair doesn't grow too much anymore since I am on single dosage now to maintain, but going on double dosage now gives me serious stomach issues.

I have started to use Minoxidil/Rogaine (foam) the past couple of weeks 2x a day on there and a small patch on my beard.

I am hoping it will help with some growth/stimulation and or growing my thin hairs thicker.

I used to use Rogaine a few years back before my AU as I had some thinning hair and some hair loss, but nothing too bad. It used to work decently well for me

I am considering using it on the front and middle parts of my scalp that are still a bit thinner than before (because some of the hair roots aren't fully back yet, so my hair is thin and the wind messes it up pretty bad).

I am worried about the shedding though and I am not sure if I should do it on the front or if I should even consider doing it on one side of my head first and then the next side a few months later. This would lengthen the process, but it may make it easier to hide the shedding for the first couple of months.

Any thoughts?

I forgot to add I am also taking Omega 3 as of the past few weeks. 1200mg

Some studies pointing to how it may be able to help with autoimmune diseases and even normal hair thickness. Not sure if anything will happen, but we will see
