Any advice on how to transition to using a hair piece or full wig? I am noticing more loss but it is only on the front hairline, which is typical of FFA, so I am not sure which is best. Any ideas or advice would be appreciated.

Hi Sara,

If you can get by with a smaller hair piece, I would start there. I don't know exactly how much you've lost but have you considered trying a fringe/bangs? If not, a hair topper comes in various sizes...the hard thing with these is that you have to find one that blends well with your own hair. I would opt for a human hair piece if you have doubts about color. That way you can take it to a salon and get it colored to blend. You can always graduate to a wig later if you need or even a 3/4 wig that still lets you blend the hair on the back side of your head.
