Hello!
My name is Allie Roop. I have had Alopecia since I was 2 years old. I went completely bald around age at 8 and it all grew back by the time I was 13. Since then I have had no problems with alopecia until about a year ago.
I am now a sophomore at Millikin University in Decatur Illinois and I have absolutely no idea what to do. I have almost no hair left and my eyebrows are starting to fall out. (which has never happened to me so thats pretty freaky) I get by day to day by wearing a thick black workout head band to cover the thinning but that is not really working any more.

That all being said I was hoping someone could post about the good and bad experiences they have had with wigs.

I would love all of the help and support I could get!

Thank youuu!
:)

Thank you sooooo much everyone. All of your advice and comments are making this transition so much easier. My mom and I are still researching for some good products that fit my needs, but I will be sure to let you all know what I decide on. :)

You should look into getting just a topper with silk top since ir sounds like your losing hair on top it will blend to your hair and look completely natural!

Hi, My daughter wears all lace wigs with silk tops that she gets from chinese sites. I am concerned if you buy a topper that it will not be enough coverage if you continue to lose hair. There is alot of information on different types of wigs on wigsupport.com
