Hi folks!
Just wondering what you guys use for a wig stand when you travel? I have one that I use at home but need a STURDY one for travel. Any ideas?

Thank you so much!

hi!!! i have a black plastic wig stand that you can take apart and rebuild very easy. i bought at local wig shop. however a lap shade always works. of course one that you are not using make sure it's not on.lol

jess
opps that was to read " lamp shade"
I bought a wire one from a wig shop that has one part cross another to stand straight. Lets air through, too, for drying...and it comes apart to fit flat into my suitcase's outside zip section. You could always roll a hand-towel into a tube and stand it upright with the wig over it, too.
Thanks for the follow up! I have one that does NOT hold my wig up - it's a plastic stand and my freedom hair piece just knocks it over due to it's weight.
Cool! I'll check with her! Thanks so much!
I have a cheap & easy solution for you.... A skirt/pants hanger! The kind of hanger with clips on the end. You just attach the clip to the tag on the wig then hang it up. No need to turn it inside out unless you want to do that. With this way it is not only out of the way, but it is airing out. I hang mine at the top of the door or on a door handle or in the closet. If you are traveling, there is bound to be an emtpy closet and you can hang it in there. Just an idea.
I often remove the lampshade as well:).
Hi Rebecca

When I travel with Martine she has a blow up wig stand that she uses it has a velvet like finish and a weight in the bottom of it that makes it sturdy.

You are able to get them from www.feelgoodlookgood.com.au (look through the site). Otherwise email Martine and she will be able to help.

Rosy :)
I just stick mine on the headboard of a bed or hook on the door. Never seems to do them any harm... Saving with me on holidays. I don't even use a wig stand at home and never had any trouble. L
