I am starting to think about another wig to take advantage of my insurance reimbursement for the year. I like the active wear of the Freedom wigs, as I have small kids and I feel constrained by my hair. However, we are rolling the dice right now on another baby and I dont want to have to shave if my hair comes back during pregnancy- I was never able to shave, too sad.

Anyway, so I was thinking about an iwig since so many people like them here. But I feel like I really need a stylist I can go to to help me make them look normal (whatever I get). The one I got my first wigs from retired and moved away.

Does anyone have any suggestions on people in the Northern Virginia and DC area to go to?

TIA!

I've been to Bravada's in Fairfax, near George Mason University. Great people, there's a stylist, although a bit more expensive than online purchases.
Bravada's is where I went the two years I wore wigs. They were really nice and I felt really comfortable there. I had a much better experience there than I did at some other places in the area.
Im in Arlington, and i have gone to both Bravadas and to Dihana Lynn - both nice experiences - learned alot. but seeing that its been almost 6 years now i found the easiest and cheapest thing to do is buy online from rpgshow.com - they have great full lace wigs that i wear daily - and take off each night (you can wear them up to a week at a time i just choose not to) using super tape. they come styled! and if you get the human hair, you can style them just like your normal hair.
Who cuts your online wigs?

I get my wigs from Joi Wig in Springfield, VA and I know they also cut online wigs. They have an awesome stylist! Hope this helps.
