*******I DO NOT WANT THIS TO TURN INTO A POLITICAL DISCUSSION*******
If there should be a trade embargo between the US and China any time after 1/20/2017, given that a large majority of human hair wigs (and the hair to make them) come from China, have you given any thought of what you will do/what will happen if trade between the US and China becomes non-existent or too cost prohibitive? I'm trying to make sure I have backups - I figure the place where I get my wigs now, the units last me about 4 months, so I'll be good if I have three that I can swap out to prevent wear and tear on any one unit. That will get me through a year; after that...?
AS I SAID EARLIER, I DON'T WANT THIS TO BE A POLITICAL DISCUSSION. My concern is how I'm going to navigate through the world with AA as an alopecian who chooses not to go without a wig, and definitely not without a wig that makes me presentable to the outside world. Thanks In Advance!

I am so glad you posted this. I too do not want to get into politics and to be honest I don't think a trade embargo can happen from China. Not only would we not have wigs, we would all be running around without cloths or shoes, to just name a few of the many millions of items that would not reach our shores. That aside, I think we all need to watch the news closely and I may order some additional wigs for my daughter to have them around. Better safe then sorry.
In addition, I might also custom order a few extra human hair wigs that require 2 months to create. I have been lucky enough to develop a relationship with a human hair factory direct that just when I thought I had the venue to buy, this comes along.
Again, I am not going to scream, "fire" ye,t but I think we all need to keep our ears to the ground on this one. Good point to bring up and glad you did, Lisa
I definitely want to stock up, but I don't know what the shelf life is for lace wigs. As with any type of material, things break down, and I'm concerned with durability if I'm not wearing them (in a box, on a stand, etc.). Like I said, I don't have the luxury of waiting to see.
