you can swim in this??? How expensive is it? Wow that is amazing you can swim...great for teenage girls I am sure.
Tanya, Vacuum Wig would be my choice. I've had mine for 5 months and love it. I agree with Rosy, it is reliable, durable, beautiful hair, secure for any type of activity. You put it on and go - NEVER have to worry about it. Let me know if you have specific questions. Vacuum Wigs are a bit expensive, but so worth every penny.

where do you get them and how much do they cost? do they stay on all the time? what do you know about hair bonding
In case you missed my previous posts here it is again:

My bonded on hair system can be worn with no hair underneath or integrated into your existing hair. It stays on all the time and requires monthly maintenance. It isn't hot at all and I can drive my car with the moon roof open or exercise with it on, even ride a roller coaster (although I haven't tried that one yet.) The only thing I would worry about doing is underwater swimming, as I think it would probably loosen the glue and tape, even though it's supposedly ok, but I could live without doing that.

I love the fact that I can wear it to bed and 24/7, that and security were very important to me. I love my new hair system! p.s. I have some of my own hair in the back and can wear it in a ponytail or bun.

It is good quality long European hair and cost $2500 initially and should last at least a year to two years. It costs $100 for montly maintenance. Check out Hair Systems of LI where I go (but am not affiliated with in any way other than as a customer) at www.hairsystemsli.com. Wherever you live you should be able to find a similar place but definitely do your research and check out the quality of the hair systems first and ask to speak to people who are already clients. Don't be afraid to bargain a little and ask questions. This is a big investment so take your time in deciding where you want to go if you choose this option.

I love the fact that I get to go to sleep with it on and wake up with it each morning. It's not any hotter than my real hair used to be and very breathable and natural looking.
hello
I wear a peggy knight vacuum and played basketball in college. I swim in them and still play any sports I want. If you want more info please feel free to email me.
How much did it cost? I looked at your pictures it looks so good! Do you have alopeia areata?
Hi,

I wear a Freedom suction wig. I have had mine for 2 years not and wouldn't even think about going back to synthetic. You can't compare them. I play netball, squash and basketball. I swim go horseriding, motorbike riding and can easily sit on a boat in the breeze. Its nice to know that my 'hair' isn't going to fall off. My wig is a bit expensive but I wouldnt trade it. I wear it every day and the humidity and temperature is a killer. However, it stays on. You can have a little bit of hair on your head if you choose or have it completely shaved. I have a little bit cause i am to lazy to shave it all the time. I can go up to a month without washing it and it still looks fine. P.s. I live in Australia. But hope this helps you :)

Hello all who are reading this...may seem like a silly question, but..why must you be bald or almost to wear a vacuum wig? Last year I went to this place called Hair Therapy in Tampa, FL..the lady who owns shop was all about selling me a vacuum piece, and I tried it on, it fit so nicely, it was super expensive, so I thought I needed to think about it, of course. Euro hair, nice...but it is this woman's business, and didn't she know better, as I have FPB, not alopecia, and she saw my overall thinning, said I wasn't a candidate for something like extensions and steered me towards the vacuum unit. I am not intending to ride roller coasters or be super active, but just want it to look natural and be as flat to my head as possible. Can I still use a vacuum unit even tho I have hair?? It fit really nice.
I have wondered this too Lexi. I still have hair, shedding like crazy, but still some. I wondered if you had to keep your head shaved to wear these as well. I do think they look the most realistic probably because they suction to the head. But I am just not ready to shave it yet.
You and me both!! When I tried it on, it looked so natural it was crazy. I don't care if I have to be more careful on a windy day (lol)...or whatever...I just want something to look less like a wig, I like most of my wigs, but....you know..I should have them thinned out, but always leary about someone doing anything to them, if they ruin them, not exactly like they are gonna grow back anytime soon, right??? Thanks
I feel you girl. I have had so many bad experiences with wigs it's ridiculous. We desire the same thing...to look natural and feel comfortable! Hope we find our way....hugs......
There should be a kind of e-bay/craigslist type category on this site...lol...wigs we have purchased that didn't work out for us, we found we were stuck with them having been told they are not returnable, and who would like to buy them at a HUGE discount, right?? I sure we all can relate to the "what in the world was I thinking" purchase. I always feel in a local wig shop where they are indeed NOT returnable, I look better than when I come home in my own element. It doesn't help that the store owner will often voice their opinion, and quite possibly they see YOU differently than you see YOU ...sometimes steering you towards a purchase, style and color, that you regret when you get home. I literally have wigs in boxes I never have worn. If we could only go back and undo our mistakes, right??? Life does not come with a do-over option!! Take care.
