Afternoon peeps!

i was wondering dose anyone know about the real hair wigs that don't come off ? i think there glued on and then you can swim in them, you go to bed with it on basically it only comes off once every three months to get it re fitted and more hair added if needed.

i would love to know if anyone had it done or wear dose it.

also my two free wig proscription is coming up and i was wondering if that could be put towards the cost of this stay on wig?

i don't mind being bald and after 2 years of it im pretty sorted but winter is coming up and my head gets chilly !

cheers all

looking forward to some feed back.

I wear a bonded-on hair system and leave it on all the time, except when I go to the salon once a month. I don't know if you will be able to use your prescription toward it, that is a question for your insurance company, but probably! It is really awesome and has given me my life back, I would definitely recommend you give it a try! If you have any specific questions let me know and good luck : )

I have worn bonded hair systems for the last 4.5 years- it is nice to not have to work about it somehow coming off; but depending on what particular kind you are looking at and if you have a local salon to do the cleaning and bonding for you would be considerations. When i first started wearing these, i used the "Virtuesse" systems for which i paid a 3k+ price tag to receive 3-4 systems a year with the monthly maintenance done at a salon. I then moved out of the area and still used the virtuesse product but was able to bond myself at home- but the cleaning can be a really big mess, so you'll want to decide if that's something you want to do. I have also ordered the systems (they're thin polyurethane) through other providers and places like hair direct- and i did not see any difference from the "virtuesse" product other than being slightly cheaper. The downsides to the bonding is that depending on your climate and your daily activity level, the bond may not hold for a whole month. I use ghost bond adhesive and can get a good 2.5-3 weeks before i feel like i need to bond again; but i live in a humid climate and work out daily. I'm actually looking at switching to the Follea Gripper wigs- i just heard about them and like the thought of a nicer hair quality and no monthly maintenance. good luck on your decision!

Hi, My daughter wears all lace wigs which she attaches with super tape. She sleeps and does water activities in them. She removes them every 2-4 days to wash her scalp well and then reattaches them. This may be an alternate to the bonded system if that does not work for you. We buy them from a chinese site called qd beauty.
