Hello everyone...hope your all enjoying the last bits of Summer before Fall arrives:) I have a question...I can't be the only one this is happened to. I have lost my eyelashes a few times now, and they have grown back (somewhat) except for my lower lashes which have remained gone for some time now. The problem is that the lashes that have grown back are not like eyelashes at all. they are pure white, and grow in either straight out/down, or at weird angles. I do curl them but they still act strangly, going in all different directions. My old lashes were long and so nice. I'm happy to have my lashes back now, but don't know what to do about the crazy way they are behaving. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Christine

PS: I am one of those people who grows those strange pure white hairs where my hair use to be, so guess I'm prone to them. They have never turned back into normal hairs and I've had them remain this way for years now.

Hi, My eyebrows have never really grown back, I just have a few on the left side just where they brow starts, at least it gives me a starting point when I powder them on...hehe. My lashes are rediculous tho, sorry your eyebrows are doing this, but I didn't think I could be the only one with these crazy white hairs. I'm really happy with my Gripper too, and it has held up amazingly well it was a year on Aug. 29. The color is still smashing, and the hair still looks great. I wish I knew someone near me who was great at cutting them because I'd like to get the edges cut in with wisps of hair around the hairline. I think it could be tweeked a bit too. The person who cut it at the salon where I purchased did a really good job, just think it could use a bit of a touch up. The person who use to cut my bio hair is unsure and has never cut someones wig before. I'm thinking of getting a back up wig, but the cost is stopping me. What are you using on yours for shampoo and conditioner? I'm so glad your happy with it.
Christine

I use a sulfate free Aryan oil shampoo also and I use Loreal color vibrant conditioner I haven't tried putting the Moroccan oil on before shampooing but think I'll try that too. I wash mine every week.

I am curious are they thin and sparse? I get a lot of sparse white/blond lashes that are straight and funny but they are never long enough or full enough to amount to anything. the one time i got my regular brown thick eyelashes to grow back ( i was using the lash growth formulas during a full hair growth cycle) the blonde ones where gone and my regular lashes grew again before i had another lost cycles and now im just stuck with the weird blondes. I don't understand why my hair changes out like that. it's kind of amusing regardless.

Francie, I thought about using the Latise for my lashes but was advised against it by the opthamalogist that I see (I have extreme dry eyes) and he advised against it for me because of my green eyes, he said that I could darken them to brown eyes and that it would be permanent. He felt that the risk was not worth it, so I didn't want to take that chance, I know even people with blue eyes have used it with no color change but I was to afraid. I don't understand those crazy white hair either, I have them all over my head too, but they never amount to much, they are probably of normal thickness but are sparse. I really believe that once I get those whites I will never have normal hairs again. The white eyelashes are long....just weird:)
