Xelanjz users: have you ended treatment (for > 2 months) & kept your hair?

I have noticed that it is an immune suppressant drug designed for you to use for life (however it isn't safe to use for life). Have any of you discontinued treatment and NOT lost hair? I have followed quite a few people regrow all of their hair only to lose all of it again after they ENDED or LESSENED the dosage.

You will likely loose your hair once the treatment is stopped. The question is, can you keep it with taking only 5mg a day once it is all grown in? If so, then I think this drug could be safe enough to take long term at that dosage. The real cure is likely to come from stem cell research...but we are still a ways out from that. The good news out of all this is, is that we now have a better understanding of the cause. This should help the stem cell research progress to a solution.

Agreed. I'm excited for the cure :)

I agree with Cws it is more of a treatment not a cure. But on the positive side hopefully thier will be more safer drugs to be approved for alopecia now that they have a better understanding of this. I think stem cell will be the cure but who knows that might be about 5 years from now. Although some parts of America are doing stem cell treatment using fat cells now.. But am not sure how affective it is..

Truth. I hope the cure comes soon. :) It is a positive sign for the future (and hopefully, somewhere, the present)!

100 % it's a struggle but I do believe with in the next 36 to 50 months they will be a lot closer. If you go on xeljanz be sure to have proffesional supervision.
Hi Singh, could you post a picture? I want to see a photo before your hair grows much longer so we can compare later

I have a idea  about this thing ...is possible all people is losing now hairs become whit 2 pills and no whit 1 pills and it super active the immune system of the body...it's a idea and can be wrong but i begin the cure whit 1 pills  and then i'll go whit 2 pills.
