Hi -does this group ever get together? I'm living in golden and would love to meet up and hear about others experiences. I recently lost almost all my hair after dealing with mild AA since I was 5. Trying out some different looks and want to get any ideas! It's been rough losing it all but I'm trying to stay positive! Let me know if anyone wants to grab coffee or beer sometime.

Hi all!
I am trying to think of ways that I can start helping people affected by Alopecia and how society defines beauty. I know we haven't been able to make a get-together work, but would love to meet up with some of you just to talk through things and maybe come up with some ideas - and it's good support!
I know it's last-minute, but is anyone available to meet up on this Thursday at 7pm at Paris on the Platte (it's a coffee/wine bar in the Lower Highlands) Am up to other suggestions as well!
If it doesn't work for anyone, I will throw out a date for the end of June as I will be gone for three weeks.

Maybe could try for either Tuesday the 2nd or Wednesday the 3rd? Next week is my last week of work at my current job, so I will have time in either the morning or late afternoon for a happy hour. If people are coming from Boulder, any recommendations in Golden or even old town Arvada could work. I know of a wine place in Old Town Arvada, but am not sure on the coffee options - but would guess there are some!

Let's put some dates on the calendar! What dates in the next two weeks are good for everyone? I think if we meet - it would be fun to meet at a fun local with either a coffee or tea shop the meeting spot. Just my thought :) OR - we could opt for wine and let loose :)
I'm good next week on either Friday the 29th or the following week most days :) Hope to hear from everyone soon!
