Hello friends ~ I have had a busy couple of weeks since our last meeting in June... I apologize for being so slow to coordinate a fun get-together/happy hour type thing... I will bring some ideas to the meeting on the 19th so I can get some feedback regarding the best days for meeting/places around town, etc... It will be nice to see you all again- smiles- Paula

Hey guys! Just thought that I would give you an update on things. We will be meeting at the Pyle center on July 19th at 10:00am. We are trying to get a larger room, but that hasn't been confirmed yet. Also, our group secretary Corina, is working on the group directory and will email everyone when it is complete. If anyone in this group did not get their info on the list please let me know via AW, or my email sgomez33@cox.net

I am over the moon! We had a terrific meeting! I am so excited to see where this takes us. We have a lot of work ahead of us. It was so nice to see all of you who went. I am so looking forward to our next meeting. Thank you guys for helping to make it such a great day! Also, thank you to everyone who helped out with refreshments.
P.S. Yvonne, I'm still drinking the Starbuck's coffee! I'm going to have so much trouble falling asleep tonight! lol! Thanks :)

Just learned of this group from Sarah who I met via a posting she made on the herAlopecia WEB page re this group. I live in Flagstaff. I thought about coming but I am still recovering from a broken right patella and am not driving as of yet and the thought of 5 hours in a car this weekend isn't a good one yet. I'm excited to be able to meet other alopecians in the Phoenix area someday and getting in a Trader Joe's shopping trip. I really like this site especially seeing photos of others. Thanks to all who have already shared so much on their WEB sites! Would love a tip on how to get the main photo updated on my WEB page!

Oh that is good to know. My mum enquired in Ireland and they said it would cost EURO4000!!! HA HA... I dont think I have that kind of dosh sitting around. I am still waiting to hear back from them here.

I saw it on the news the other day! I was once a client of theirs about 12 years ago. I got a vacuum wig through them. It was a terrible experience for me. They used poor quality human hair. They made me about three vacuum wigs, but none of them were acceptable. They were very nice to me there, and did try their best to work w/ me. But it ended w/ a partial refund, (after having to go to mediation) no wig, and I had to promise to never go back. So I never did.
