A rare condition??

Since i get in touched with the alopecia world (not the site), i hear that AU is the most rare form of alopecia...yet, my personal experience (an ex-girlfriend, who "drove" me to this great community) is with a AU person and this AU group is the biggest of the site??

what does that mean??

i honestly can't think of any answer...
