Shaving my head

I have folliculitis decalvans and I recently shaved my head, my scalp was left very scarred and disfigured from the FD. Is there any way to make the scarring go away, does it happen on it own or is that pretty much it?

Hi Blair. Have you had any luck? I've also been interested in how to make my scalp look more even. I ran across a derm here in Houston that advertises bald head care for men, but have yet to contact him. I'm afraid of what his fees would be.
