3 weeks in-this is what I noticed so far:

I lost 7lbs.

The first 4 days were just horrid! I felt terrible. After that, the cloud lifted and I felt great.

Much more energy. Better mood and feel happier. It's shocking how good I feel. I keep saying this to my hubby!

I had 3 criteria to meet while on the diet.

1. Slow/stop hair loss- I think it's too soon to tell. Hair seems stronger and less shed but I don't want to get my hopes up yet. It's not getting worse- so there's that! ;)

2. Stop itching on scalp/ body- Some improvement.

3. Improvement of red blotches on my face: YES! FFA had caused these weird blotches under my once fair and clear skin. Their outbreak coincided with my hair loss and pinpoint pains/itch on my head/body. Even with good foundation/powder they could be seen underneath. They have shrunk in size, location and faded in color. My make up does a good job now of making my skin look even and smooth again.

I'm going to stick with the diet for 3 months and then consider what food to add back in. I think I miss eggs the most right now. Next week it'll be something else!

Just curious what your outcome was on the AIP Diet...?!?

I've used two books/sites to get going on the AIP Diet.

The first one is by Eileen Laird: The Simple Guide to the Immune Protocol Diet.
http://www.phoenixhelix.com

The other is called AutoImmune Wellness Handbook.

I have a good cookbook: The Essential AIP Cookbook by Louise Hendon

There is a lot out there and I don't have the bandwidth for how chatty and squishy some are. I want the how/what/why and these books fit my needs. There are tons of recipe sites out there too.

I've been on it just over a month. The hard part is that it feels like I cook all the time. They suggest batch cooking and after spending 2 Saturdays in a row in the kitchen I had to find another route.

I've back to my beloved crock pot, adapting my favorite recipes, and it's made things easier.

All the best as you fight this stupid stupid disease!!!

Yeah, I've tried it and various other kinds of diets. Unfortunately none of these diet worked on me. The only way that I could lose weight was to exercise. Tbh I'm not a sporty person so it's always been extremely hard for me to go to the gym in general. That's why I have a bathroom scale put near my bed to make sure that I weight myself every morning. Although, a small piece of advice: go for normal scales instead of smart scales. Has nobody seriously wondered as to how a scale can tell you how much body fat you have? I mean that's just ridiculous, isn't it? And sure maybe the scale may give you right stats in the beginning but over the time you'll see how your body fat stats will go up and down overnight.

I've tried keto and many others. Keto is a better fit. Ketone bodies provide about 80% of all brain energy needs and have psychotropic properties in the form of antidepressant effects. That is, ketosis is a physiological phenomenon that provides brain and muscle function as well as glucose. But I was scared to go into such a state. I didn't know what symptoms it had and what could go wrong. Coming out of ketosis is scarier, so I was advised to diet https://medicalweightlosslehighvalley.com/ to get back to normal. Ketosis can't just go on for long.

Without any sophisticated chemical formulas or reference materials, it can be quite difficult for an ordinary individual to grasp how much protein, fat, and carbs are included in foods on their own. As a result, specialist programs or assistance from specialized nutritionists are required to translate the recommended amount, ratio, and fundamental proteins, fats, and carbs in foods. You can keep track of your weight with these smart scales https://www.vont.com/product/smart-scale-bathroom-scale-weight-scale/. It is possible to have a gorgeous figure; the key is to desire it!

Of course, it is unpleasant and scary when the hair begins to fall out at a young age, in addition to the growth of body weight. When something like this happened, I immediately went to the doctor. After examining me, he prescribed a suitable diet with BMI control and exercise. To control my BMI, I bought a smart scale with the help of the website https://www.vont.com/product/smart-scale-bathroom-scale-weight-scale/. I started going to the gym. After that, I felt much better, of course, not right away. At first, it was very painful. But then I got into it. The main thing is to motivate yourself correctly.
