Dr. George Cotsarelis
University of Pennsylvania
George Cotsarelis, MD is the Milton Bixler Hartzell Professor of Dermatology and Chair of the Department of Dermatology at the University of Pennsylvania. His research led to the isolation and the characterization of the expression pattern of stem cells from the bulge region of the follicle. Dr. Cotsarelis is a pioneer and expert in epithelial stem cell biology.He has published over 40 peer reviewed journal articles and has several issued and pending patents based on his scientific discoveries.


Dr. Michael Ioffreda
Penn State Health
Michael Ioffreda is a board certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist and is Professor of Dermatology and Pathology at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. In addition to seeing patients, Dr. Michael Ioffreda is an active member of the American Hair Research Society.


Dr. Maryanne Senna
Massachusetts General Hospital
Maryanne Makredes Senna, MD is a board certified dermatologist and instructor in dermatology at Harvard Medical School. She co-directs the Hair Loss Clinic at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and is principal investigator of the Hair Academic Research Unit at MGH, a clinical trials research unit dedicated to studying new treatments for hair loss disorders.
