I am considering IPL treatment for age related spots and rosacea on my face but I am wondering if anyone has tried this and if it has had negative effects on either their FFA or LPP? I certainly don’t want to risk triggering a flareup. Also, if anyone has had IPL treatments, were you happy with the results?

It depends on the ipl device you are using. The results often depend on the laser's performance and the adaptation to your skin type. Usually, if a dermatologist performs the procedures, then adverse skin reactions should not occur. Laser and IPL procedures are beneficial for our skin because they restore its firmness, treat imperfections and improve its elasticity. I recommend you do an ipl skin treatment at a dermatological clinic with a good device to see the results.
