Anyone have an issue with legs and arms getting really itchy without a visible rash? I definitely do not have hair loss on my arm but I do kind of think my leg hair is less.
My experience with itchiness has been that 3 years in a row, I have gone to FL on vacation and gotten this horrible itchiness. It takes weeks to go away and keeps me awake at night. I have thought it might be linked to use of sunscreen or to the hot temps because I've had it happen at home once or twice too.
Last time was earlier this month, I went to the beach to play volleyball and put sunscreen on my legs. It wasn't hot out though and my arms weren't affected.

Would love to hear how it goes.
Wow. So intense @jonpolo. I believe these symptoms are all definitely related to whatever it is that causes this or aggravates it.
Yes this is exactly what happens to me every summer when I am exposed to the sun. It goes away after repeated exposure. I have bruised myself from the scratching . Night time is worse. I try to load up on Claritin. I feel like it helps. First couple years it was just my logs. Then it moved to my mid section and but area for a few years. then it was my arms.

I have no body hair .

I'm terrified this will be my scalp next.

What is happening?????

For a long time (before my FFA diagnosis) I thought it was an allergy to the sun. It's definitely not sunscreen.

It's quite difficult to avoid the sun in the summer when I live at the beach. Ugh!
You get it whether or not you use sunscreen?
For me the sunscreen use has no effect. It stops the burn but the itch is present regardless.
