How would you define it? Complete abstinence from anything artificial? Olympic athlete body condition?

For me it's exercising regularly (even if it's just walking the dog, a mile walk is still a mile walk) and eating at least five portions of fruit and veggies each day with whole grains and lean protein. Of course I can't quite wean myself off 'bad' foods so some days I'll have a cookie or muffin and sometimes some restaurant or fast food just because I can't bring myself to cook.

My definition of Healthy.

Healthy:Looking in the mirror and saying "I look good" or "Did you see that six-pack?"
One knows when they're healthy,there's no explanation needed.
I agree with exercising and watching diet...I do weights at the gym 3 times a week and try to run 2 days a week - sometimes I only get in 1 but hey it's bettr than nothing. Some weeks are better than others. I've been through quite an emotional time over the past year and it's reflected in my gaining a few pounds. I'll feel more 'myself' when I can knock them off! But I'm not giving myself too hard a time over it, just getting on with doing what I can and starting to enjoy my workouts again. I've also joined a yoga class and am doing 10-20 minutes a day. Gets me feeling peaceful and relaxed and in touch with my body. I go out for dinner once a week and have maccas pancakes once a week too...but I've been off chocolate for over 6 weeks now, so I feel entitled to fast food once in a while.
Oh, I think the answer is highly individual. I used to watch every morsel that went into my mouth, exercised daily and strenously. But I'm not sure I was so healthy. I was very obsessed with my lifestyle and because I'm not "naturally" predisposed to being thin, I basically starved myself to look "fit". I had no life because I had to spend all my free tim exercising and couldn't actually eat a meal with people. But I looked good - I was very fit at that point. But, no, that is not my idea of healthy. Embracing my flaws (including my alopecia) and living a more moderate balanced lifestyle - that seems to me more healthy. For me! I've been putting more emphasis on my spiritual side rather than looking only outward.
Has anyone used green smoothies and if so what affect did it have on their health, particularly their skin and energy levels.
