I want to share my story maybe it will help others.

I was having a terrible itchy scalp and suddenly noticed 4 scarred alopecia on my scalp. I was lucky to get to the doctor the next day  and was diagnosed with scaring alopecia with a biopsy with discoid lupus. I was given clobetasol. my entire scalp was red and my hair root was hurting. I went to the doctor every 2 month and got cortisone shot in my scalp the itch was better the scars were brown the size of a dollar coin. I was getting flare up once in a while and could not understand why all of a sudden my scalp turns so red and itchy

I suddenly realize that each time I have a  cafe latte or anything with dairy my itch and my scalp goes on fire.

I self diagnosed myself with being allergic with casein which is a protein in dairy.  I went dairy free my itch is gone my scars are much smaller and by using rogaine a little hair is growing on the scars.

I am pretty sure it is the dairy because  when I eat out and  a little butter is used my scalp gets red and itchy again.

Dairy is the main reason for my hair loss. I am not lactose intolerance but Casein is what triggers my hair fall. My scalp is 90% better and it is getting better as long as I am completely off any diary.

I stopped going to the doctor they say I have DL and I say I have dairy allergy. I am doing much better. I use oil on my scalp the night before I shampoo my hair and use rogaine on the scars which they told me hair will not grow but it is growing.

Try to go dairy free but it will take at least 2 weeks before you see any result.
