Tena Koutou, Still very new to Alopecia world... Still trying to get my head around it...Still not happy about it But still.. giving thanks and praises for what i do have! Would be nice to meet some other fellow alopecians so im keen for the 4th october.. Bring it on!!

For anyone who lives in Auckland or who will be in Auckland on the 4th of October we are having a little get together from 1-5pm.

If you are interested in attending please drop me a line on here and I will get back to you with directions.

Will be really nice to get together, meet other alopecians, make new friends and have some fun.

OK guys and gals lets organise a get together!!! Can you msg me and let me know if restaurant or private venue suits better............if we had it at a private venue maybe we could combine it with a bit of a fashion day with make-up jewllery etc....Just some ideas Anna has mentioned that she would be happy to give the girls some tips on applying makeup..........thanks Anna I know your away at the moment but want to get something started.

Anyway just throwing this out there..............those of you who live in Aucks may no of somewhere we could go.

Hi there,
I would be really keen to talk to fellow New Zealanders who have alopecia. I live in Palmerston North and have had alopecia for just over two years - bald as a coot although I do still have my eyebrows and eyelashes. I don't get on this site as much as I'd like but am so pleased to see this group!

Hi guys. I know that i was suppose to organise a get together and quite a few of you were keen. I just haven't managed to get around to it, as work seems to have taken over this month. I am away now for a few weeks, but once i am back I will get something organised. How does August sound to everyone? Keep well.Kath

Hi Cheryl, I also decided when i was younger that i didnt want to try things anymore as well. I really appreciated my mum and dad taking a step back. I know its hard as you want to make everything better for her, but if she has come to terms with her alopecia that is great! x

I havent heard of it nor know whether it will work. I have terrible excema and over the years have tried probably most things available, both alternative and traditional medicines - I always recon it is worth a go although i have never found anything that really works well. As long as it doesnt make things worse what have you got to loose. Keep us informed
