My daughter had two noticable spots when she was thre years old (a big one at the top of her head). That hair grew back, and this year I found three spots so we went to the derm. and got cream for her. She also had lots of thinning on top. The derm found about 7-8 more spots that I hadn't even seen. I was very worried. Since then (that was in Dec), her hair has been growing back, amazingly well. Yes I worry, but there is hope. The derm had found a very large spot at the forhead level at our follow-up appointment that I had nvever seen, but it was also in regrowth phase. I am telling you this so you can be aware that as for now, my DD's hair is all growing with no spots.

Okay at least it's not my imagination. My daughter has a spot on the top of her head and it's been there for several months now. I kept thinking her hair on the top of her head looked thinner. Her dad said I was crazy but it does look thinner. None of the hair appears to be growing back. I don't see any sign of growth on her spot and it looks like it's a little bigger. When you mention the hair looks thinner are you talking about diffuse hair loss?
