Hi Ali!

I would be very interested in this. I have been searching for groups in the area. I'm in Middlesex County, and I recently went to the support group in Manhattan. I would love to start one up in NJ since I haven't been able to find one here! :)

I am very much interested in a support discussion group. My 10 year old has alopecia areata and we live in central jersey.

Hi. I'm also in Middlesex, NJ. Woodbridge I haven't been able to find local support groups and thinking of starting one of my own at my home. I was thinking that we could just talk or make it a game night. A night to get together and just "let our hair down" so to speak. I have alopecia areata and it just comes and goes. It's been on the way out since 2013 and about 50% hair loss now. I finally threw out my wig after holding on to it for years since it cost more than my first car. Think I will be looking for one soon. Unfortunately working as a paralegal I don't have much choice when it comes to employer's. Please let me know your thoughts to getting together. Laid off so I have a bit more time than I've had in the past few years.
