Soooooo where do i begin? Oh yeah..the er doc is a bit much for me. He has been gone for 2 weeks; still haven't went out on the "date". the reason we have not went out to dinner is because he works 2 week rotations at our hospital and then leaves for another. He calls and texts me at times just to maintain contact. My problem is that he is talking about the possibilty of getting serious. that makes me nervous 'cause i barely know him! and he lied to me about his age. Should that bother me? anywho, he is pushing it and it is making me feel uncomfortable: u know that uneasy feeling u get when u are about to speak in public? that feeling. he makes me feel nervous and he is in arizona! he will b back soon and i am not lookin forward to it. HELP!

Well any dishonesty isn't good. Not to mention the distance factor isn't good either. The guy seems real needy in my opinion... like he would jump at anything that would wait 2 weeks on 2 weeks off. Let him know why your nervous around him, maybe he hasn't been with someone in a long time so maybe he is scared of not being with someone. Most importantly trust your instincts over someone elses opinions (even mine) LOL! You have them for a reason.
Well said Sean Franklin, I think you should tell the guy what you just told us and see how he handles it. It is hard to know when someone is serious in text and things. If you are feeling nervous it is for good reason and you should be able to talk about it.
thanks for the advice guys. I did tell him and he said it was because he likes me so much. Again, he doesn't really know me. I did lie to him and told him I was "talking" with someone else. I know that is bad and does not make me any better; but he would not listen when i told him he was making me feel uncomfortable. I hope it is over with. I'm pretty sure it is. I hope someone great will come along....
