Howdy! For Texans who have alopecia where we can share stories, support, advice and maybe even meet up at some point.

Hi all! It is not too late to be a part of the next Bald Girls do Lunch event in Houston this Saturday! These luncheons are a ton of fun! Feel free to message me directly for more info or visit BGDL's website baldgirlsdolunch.org. Atlanta is still buzzing about their great event last week! Hope to see you gals there!

Hi all! I wanted to let you know of an event coming up in Houston: Bald Girls do Lunch on Saturday, March 12th. You do not have to come bald - come however you are most comfortable. This is just a great opportunity to meet other women with Alopecia in a casual environment. Feel free to message me back for more details as an RSVP is required. Should be lots of fun!

Hi all! Here is more information regarding the next Dallas NAAF support meeting. An evite was sent with the following detail. Please message me directly if you are interested in attending and I will forward the evite to you!
---
Ladies and Mothers, please join us for a "woman's building" luncheon at Gather, a space appetizing to the eye as well as the palette. Tracey Casey-Arnold will be joining our group to inspire us again with her wonderful insight on how to be the best you can be.

After lunch, feel free to shop around Historic Downtown McKinney. There are fabulous shops and unique stores that you don't want to miss. Make a day of it!

Lunch will be $15 + tax and gratuity (20%). Please RSVP asap, so we can get a head count.
(adults only)

Hi Alliegator (love the name btw!)
From my experience, they tend to occur once or twice a quarter. Some are more support based and others are social. This one should be fun - vendors and other service oriented folks will come in to talk about various products that may be helpful for folks with Alopecia. When I have a more specific agenda, I will post again allowing as much time as I can so you may plan accordingly. Hope to see you there!

Kim,
How often are the NAAF meetings in Dallas? I do not live in the area but I have family there that I could stay with if I wanted to attend one of the meetings. Are there speakers or is it more of a support group meeting?
Thank you

Hi All! Just a heads up that the next Dallas NAAF(women/adult) meeting will be held on Saturday, February 19th. The theme is "New Year for a New You - Part One". Still working out time and location details - but please mark your calendars!

Hi ya'll. Yes I am a true Texan from Lubbock home of Buddy Holly and the Texas Tech Red Raiders. Have Alopecia Areata but it doesn't have me.

I have been a member for a while, but never commented on the board. So, a belated "hi" to all. I live in Central Austin and have Androgenic Alopecia.
I have decided to look into wigs and I am going to New York to meet with Dov and High Definition Hair. I hope it goes well. If I purchase a wig and anyone is interested I could post a pic and/or meet you if you live relatively close to me. (I am in central Austin and travel to Dallas at least once a month). - Deb :)

Hi Stacey! I've only been a Texas resident for a short time, so I haven't made it to Austin yet. I hear your music scene is not to be missed.
