Eyebrow Tattoos
At the beginning of the year I was left with a one inch strip down my head like a mohecan, and three inches of patchy down the back.
I resorted to shaving it all off. It looked much neater. By end of May I was wig free and much happier.
Over the months, some of my hair started growing back. I didn't get too excited about it which is just as well as it has all come out again. This time the inch that I was left with is also on its way out.
I may not like it but I have got used to not having hair. This time though my eyebrows have started falling out.
My question is - has anybody had their eyebrows tattooed?
The thought of not having eyebrows to frame my eyes is starting to do my head in. if anybody has recommendations of where ( I live in North London) to go to get it done.... I look forward to hearing your comments

Sorry you are going thru this. The eyebrows are tough to give up.
I did have my eyebrows tattood and love them. But I live in San Francisco. Too far for eyebrows unless you were coming on holiday.
Anyway good luck and maybe try some of the temporary tattoos in the meantime.

Sorry to hear about your eyebrows, as you know I lost mine too and would love for them to grow back.. Will keep an eye on others people posts of advice..

I have tattooed eyebrows, they were done by a wonderful lady in Harley Street, her name is Tracie Giles http://www.traciegiles.co.uk/ take a look at her website. She is very approachable and very well qualified. I had horrendous eyebrows done the first time, she removed them and has done them twice over the yrs. I cant recommend her enough. -

So sorry to hear you are loosing your brows and lashes - I have too. However all is not lost, as semipermanent makeup is fantastic nowadays.
Debra Robson Lawrence in harley street and Geraldine that works with her are fantastic. Check out my photos and you will see their work. I have had two friends with eybrows that have both commented on my brows saying how jealous they were of mine, despite having their own! You can't get a better recommendation than that! In all seriousness I have been going there for years, and they really are the best in their field in my opinion. Geraldine has done mine the last couple of times and is the sweetest most talented woman. http://www.permanent-makeup.com/
I can't comment re Tracey Giles -she looks good as well. At the time I first had mine done I did loads of research and asked to see photos of their work and Debra and her team were definately the top of the field. Consequently I have stuck with them since!

I posted some notes on another forum, and its a safe check list, so please take a look and try to use it.
here is some tips to follow.
make sure they always fully rework both brows, no matter what, even if you have some brow hair, it must be fully reworked
Except no substitutes, this is the only way to correctly carry this out.
It pains me when I hear of people who just carry out work on the tails, I am afraid this is very common.
Please look at it this way, colour should be even and symmetrical across both brows. If you were to loose hair on the other brow think what this would look like! I wish everyone would understand this.
Research your artist fully, don't just go to someone because they are near you, be prepared to travel for the best work.
Find an artist that you feel comfortable with and trust fully, find someone who carries this out full time and is NOT a beauty therapist, who does lots of other things, you want someone who just concentrates on permanent makeup and does this every day all the time, why? as they will be the best, this is rare. so I say don't just go to a salon beauty therapist, it has to be their job!
Find someone is is part of a recognised board, who is a recognised supplier to large insurance companies and is recommended by cosmetic surgeons, the above would not just work with anyone or associate with them, does this make sense?
Find someone who works with (and not just says they do!) a lot of chemotherapy and alopecia clients, they will (should!!) be the best at creating bespoke brows from a blank canvas, add all this and the above up.
Am I being over fussy? its your face, many have been through enough to not get things right first time.
Using these steps will be left counting the fingers on one hand, for UK artists, but imo and I am sure yours it has to be right.
