Hello Vancouverites! Connecting is one of the best ways to feel happier and become more informed! Come as you are, whether you are shy or outgoing. This is a genuine and fun group where all of us - new to alopecia or experienced, hair-wearer or au natural, seeking treatment or not - all come together and be supportive, informative, and positive for one another. After 4+ years of running this group, I can say for sure that you'll feel better after a meetup! :)
Come to our monthly meetups, or, start by joining this group and be in the loop of upcoming meetups! Sometimes I include alopecia news / remedy / stories too.
If your kid / teen has alopecia, please contact us and we'll put you in touch with other parents! It'll be, I believe, quite awesome for your child :)

It was a great meet-up - always fun. We discussed some ways to keep in touch, and also touch base with those who've mentioned interest but haven't been able to come due to their travel schedules or work. We look forward to meeting new members. Please feel free to contact Tanya (The Vancouver Alopecia group organizer) with any questions or comments you might have. Hope to see all of you again soon.
Another great meetup - better than the soup we made! haha. I still ate tons of it though! Considering it was vegan and gluten free, I'd say it's pretty good!
I always look forward to our meetups so much. It was great seeing all you fabulousness. We missed some of you, but glad everyone was well at the end of the day. I hope to new faces next time too!
Thank you JLo for hosting!! xoxo
ok
Good idea! Fine by me!
If you want to post / link a recipe, the those of us coming can take on ingredients.
Let's do this via email? So not everyone on the wall gets all these messages about soup :)
xo
Okay. How about everybody else? Minestrone sound good?
Yes there are Deean, I have some made of rice so I will take care of that.
How about a minestrone soup? Are there gluten free macaroni type noodles available?
Looking forward to seeing you all! A pot of soup is good, I'll contribute whatever is needed, but I am also going to bring those yummy wheat free brownies.
I am easy... let me know what you want me to provide and lets have fun!
Sounds good. Let us know if that works for you Chris.
