Hello Vancouverites! Connecting is one of the best ways to feel happier and become more informed! Come as you are, whether you are shy or outgoing. This is a genuine and fun group where all of us - new to alopecia or experienced, hair-wearer or au natural, seeking treatment or not - all come together and be supportive, informative, and positive for one another. After 4+ years of running this group, I can say for sure that you'll feel better after a meetup! :)
Come to our monthly meetups, or, start by joining this group and be in the loop of upcoming meetups! Sometimes I include alopecia news / remedy / stories too.
If your kid / teen has alopecia, please contact us and we'll put you in touch with other parents! It'll be, I believe, quite awesome for your child :)

Join us here and we'll send next meeting details to you in a group email!
You can always get a hold of us via AW messaging or at alopecia.vancouver[at]gmail.com

Welcome Plumeria! Looking forward to hearing about JLo's visit with you in Prince Rupert this coming Spring! :)
Welcome!!
Hello all - I am new to the forum and to AW but not to Alopecia - been living with it for 32 years.
Can't believe I missed out on so much fun. Next time I won't leave so early.
Thanks also for your hospitality, Jana.
I bet you were a total zombie. You had to wake up early. Have a good weekend everybody.
Hey, Jlo
If your going to Mohair tomorrow you have to call them first and book a consultation.
Deaann, glad you got home ok. I was a zombie today...I just woke up from a nap.:)
Cat
I didn't mind. I usually stay up late, but I must have been thinking about something because I didn't realize I was exiting instead of continuing on the same direction. Traffic was great, and border was a breeze too.
@Deeann Niice. Lol the late hour probably meant better traffic despite the sleepiness! We probably should make sure we don't stay 'til the am next time! Haha
@btflbaldgrrl and @cat Loving the posts to the discussion forums! Keep adding to them everyone :)
@JLo Good luck tomorrow! Keep us posted!
Pretty good time ! Glad to hear it and the extra loop was probably due to the late hour as you say. Take care, Jana
It was a very..smooth drive. Although for some reason I found myself getting off on the Delta exit, looping around. After making a U-turn I was back on track. Not sure how it happened, but probably due to the late hour. I got back in just over an hour and ten minutes. Not bad.
