Hello Vancouverites! Connecting is one of the best ways to feel happier and become more informed! Come as you are, whether you are shy or outgoing. This is a genuine and fun group where all of us - new to alopecia or experienced, hair-wearer or au natural, seeking treatment or not - all come together and be supportive, informative, and positive for one another. After 4+ years of running this group, I can say for sure that you'll feel better after a meetup! :)
Come to our monthly meetups, or, start by joining this group and be in the loop of upcoming meetups! Sometimes I include alopecia news / remedy / stories too.
If your kid / teen has alopecia, please contact us and we'll put you in touch with other parents! It'll be, I believe, quite awesome for your child :)

This group gets together monthly at one of the members' homes - a cozy, positive, and fun environment, for those with alopecia. We are here to support one another, and every meetup has been amazingly mood-lifting.

Chris I missed your Dec 9th post somehow. So glad the eyebrows worked out for you! That's awesome!! :) I went back to Xui Pei Wang just recently to get my eyebrows touched up. It was $10 instead of the $20 she said earlier. Also she decided to charge $280 instead of $350. Maybe to be more competitive? She is pretty busy with this and is planning to have another room in her home to take more customers.
And it's cool you ran into Connie too, haha! She is meant to join us one way or another :)
And TopLace - sweet!! Did you do a template yourself? Can't wait to see the hair!

Drat. Thursdays are not good for me, as my daughter is with me and has swimming. But most weekdays are not good for me, other than Mondays. Enjoy, Alopecians! Think I will begin to plot a Free on the Beach Walk for February 2012. : ) Happy NY!

I'll be out of town after January 18th, but will return on the 27th. Dang. If it works for everybody else, I'll catch up with you in February. I will miss seeing you all. Happy Holidays everybody.

By the way - It is ethnicity night at Just Dance tomorrow night - Dec 9th.
Tanya - I also met Connie at my yoga studio. By the way Xui Pei Wang was the best- very happy with my eyelid and eyebrow tattoos, despite the pain! Thanks so much for the referral. I also ordered my new wig through TopLace - you should start a referral service - lol!
