Hello Vancouverites! Connecting is one of the best ways to feel happier and become more informed! Come as you are, whether you are shy or outgoing. This is a genuine and fun group where all of us - new to alopecia or experienced, hair-wearer or au natural, seeking treatment or not - all come together and be supportive, informative, and positive for one another. After 4+ years of running this group, I can say for sure that you'll feel better after a meetup! :)
Come to our monthly meetups, or, start by joining this group and be in the loop of upcoming meetups! Sometimes I include alopecia news / remedy / stories too.
If your kid / teen has alopecia, please contact us and we'll put you in touch with other parents! It'll be, I believe, quite awesome for your child :)

Hello everyone,
I am very excited to find this support group. I've been supporting myself for many many years. I have only met one other woman with alopecia. I don't know why it too me so long to find online networks for alopecia, I just assumed I'd be ok being alone forever. Oh well. I'm happy to be apart of this.
Would love to see it if someone ends up getting it "recorded". Total old school. Not even sure what PVR stands for. Would love to hear how it goes.
Hey.I looked this up. It's on tomorrow morning apparently. At 11am on CTV.
That is AWESOME JLo!!!
Hi all,
I am on the CANAFF website and they sent me an email letting me know that on the Marilyn Denis show http://www.marilyn.ca/ they are doing a piece on alopecia and the whole audience may be full of those with alopecia and one woman gets a make over. Cool eh? I'm going to see if I can get someone to pvr it for me as I will be a work....I don't even know when the show is on but I thought I'd let you all know, Take care, JLo
Dana: Can I get your address? I made a lotion for your RA, and would like to send it to you. I hope it helps.
Thanks Tanya for the info - I will contact the 'eyebrow' lady!
Thank you to all of you for making the effort to get together - this is so important to me to connect with you guys, share our stories, ups and downs - I am happy to host anytime! I look forward to seeing you all again and meeting the newcomers! Luv you all!
No problems at the border, and made it home in 1-1/2 hours after leaving your place. Not bad. Glad to hear your pup is recovering, and surgery went well Dana. I'll send links about essential oils for psoriosis soon, and am thinking I might like to put a few salves together for psoriosis and RA. I need to order some more, but will do that as soon as I receive them. Take care everybody.
It was so nice to see you all and thanks Chris for hosting, such a cosy, comfortable environment. The info about Toplace is great Tanya and it's a beautiful day today so I am going for a long walk and check out Mohair....hilarious name. I hope you had no hassels at the border, Deeann, and I am glad to hear Taylor is doing OK Dana....I will have the next one in Jan or we'll make the trek to Maple Ridge. Happy Holidays to you all! JLo (aka Jana2)
