Hello all! My Freedom Wig has shipped from NZ and I will have it in a little over a week. I have an appt with my hairdresser (whom I have been seeing for 20 years) next Sunday, June 16. I am both excited and nervous.
I know that I need to tell her to cut whispies, but any very specific information on what to tell her would be so appreciated! Some have said that she should use a razor and others on here have suggested that makes the whispies frizzy.
If there is a link to where the instructions are written on a known site, please attach the link and I would LOVE to see photos, especially those that show the hair up. I have seen Freedom Wig Photos in this site but I know there are many more that were not perhaps put in that photo folder.
Thank you in advance for any advice you can give me!

Hi Emily I have some photos on my page of my daughters hair up with whispies.......it can take a few goes to get them cut right. Nicoles hairdresser uses scissors. Good luck with your cut I understand the nerves it is a stressful time! I will send you a friend request so you can view the photos :)
Hi Emily! I am waiting for my new freedom hair, but I think I still have a couple of months before it arrives. Debbi Fuller, who I ordered mine from, gave me the name of a stylist that has cut them in the past close to my home. I have a consultation with him in a couple of weeks so we can talk over the cut prior to getting it. I am really nervous too. You may want to check and see if there is anyone in your area that has cut them before. That may ease your nerves.
Best of luck!

thanks Momoftwoboys (I am too!) -- Debbi is also my IA -- she is great! I already posted on my local group (Metro DC area) and couldn't find a stylist who here who works with Vacuum wigs. I do trust my stylist so I am going to go with her. I printed out some pics from this site of Freedom Wig wearers with their whispies showing to bring to her. Anyone else who wishes to post those pics, I would appreciate it!
I have read EVERYTHING on this site from FW wearers (maybe too much?) !!!

Hi Emily
I may be a little late to answer you on this. But if you email me at deanna@freedomwigs.com I will send you some photo's I have with wispies etc.
If you have already gone for hairstyling I'm sure it went well. I also tell the people I help in New Zealand, take it slow, talk and form a very good rapport with your stylist, take in as many piccies as possible depicting what you are trying to achieve. You will look fab.

I don't go until this Sunday June 16. I just sent you an email with my email addresses.
Thank you so much for your time and kindness! I have read many of your posts and am truly impressed at the time you take to help others.
