Hi Everyone,

I'm saving like crazy and hope to go for a fitting for my first Freedom in December. I have so many questions. Thanks to everyone who responded to my previous questions about the neckline, but now even more questions have occurred to me.

1. What is the longest length you can get in a Freedom wig?
2. Can anyone post a picture of their hair at this length?
3. Can anyone post a picture of their hair density -- I would like to see the difference between the light and medium density? I will be getting the straight hair with body.
4. How long do you razor the baby hairs? Do you also razor them in the bang area if you want side-swept bangs?
5. With the wig that I wear now (lace) I find that the hair underneath clumps together and kind of pokes outwards -- has anyone experienced this with a Freedom?
6. Does a Freedom tangle a lot?
7. Can anyone post a close up pic of their Freedom front hairline (with the baby hairs and without bangs) so that I can see what it looks like.
8. If you don't want to post pics on this forum, could you please email me: janine@assent.co.za

I'd really appreciate any help and information as I'm really keen on a Freedom.

Thanks

Hi Janine
If you look on my profile page there are some pics of Nicole wearing her hair pieces. She is on her third freedom wig and has worn them now for 4-5 yrs. They have all been beautiful and have made such a difference to her daily life. Good luck with everything.
If you have any questions just message:)
Regards Sharon

Hi Janine, I've had freedom hair for almost 7 years I think. Totally different to lace wigs. The prosthetic that covers your head is silicone, so no itchy scratchy hair to poke you. They will tangle as much as a normal head of hair, you won't find it a problem. I have had 3 freedom wigs, 14 inch medium- wavy, 14 inch medium light-slight wave and my new one just arrived last week which is a 10 inch light- straight implant. If you have a good hair dresser you'll be fine, hopefully there's someone with the really long hair that can send you a photo. Theres a few hair photos in the gallery of freedom hair, also on the facebook page there are some to have a look at. I have always chosen to have a fringe(bangs) as I think it makes it looks more realistic but that is totally my own point of view, I have seen some lovely photos of hair without a fringe. If I get a chance next week I can send you some photos of all 3 of mine if you would like.
Best of luck. Norelle

Whoopsie my new hair is a extra light implant.

Thanks Norelle, I'd appreciate any pics.

I'll do my best to answer your questions.

1. Length is dependent on the availability of the colour you choose... light blondes, light browns and reds can be very difficult to source in longer lengths 12/14/16 inches. If you want these colours and lengths there can be delays.

2. Go to my page and have a look at my daughter's wigs (all Freedom). She has piccies of her in 12inches, 14 inches, and 10 inches. 16 inches is just too much hair for her and my personal preference for her is 10 inches.

3. When you talk with your Independent Freedom Agent you will be able to get information around hair stylists and what can be achieved with a Freedom Wig. I am happy to send piccies to you of undercuts and baby hairs on Freedom Wigs. Message me your email and I will do that.

5. No this doesn't happen with a Freedom Wig.

6. No they do not tangle a lot, they behave like normal growing hair, so tangles can occur but in most instances because the hair is totally unprocessed and implanted with Freedom's specific technique - tangling is minimal and easily dealt with.

7. Again, I'm happy to send you piccies.

8. LOL opps theirs your email. I will get on to this tomorrow or the next day.

Take your time, don't rush. This decision is a big one but in my experience it's never been something that anyone has regretted.

Rosy

Thanks Rosy, I look forward to seeing the pics. I really appreciate your advice -- it is such a big investment that I don't want to make any mistakes!
