After getting my freedom wig i went to the stylest Karen told me about and she cut baby hairs around the nape of my neck and some around my face to cove the cap ridge. If your getting one take alot of time to think how you want your hair to look in the end. Start collecting pictures that you can show your hair dresser or if there is someone you've been going to for a while they may be able to work with you better cause they know how you wear your hair. Just remember start off slow you can always get more cut off later but very hard to get put back in. I have bangs which i never used to have so that;s hard to get used too however I know a few ladies that don't have any bang and it looks great.
Thanks Jessica
I will be going to my stylist here and wanted to talk to her about it way ahead of time. your advice about starting off slow is good advice...i will probably wear bangs too..i have worn my hair both ways and the bangs seem like they would work best. thanks so much!!!!
Hi Joy,
I always have baby hairs razored around the entire hairline with graduated longer ones if I want to wear hair behind my ears. When I wear my longer one (shoulder length) & wear the hair up in a clip, I've had longer tendrils razored in. All of this makes the hairline as natural as possible. My stylist prefers to use a razor (not scissors) pulling just a few hairs at a time right at the hairline so it doesn't look 'cut' & bulky. Are you using a stylist that is familiar with the Freedom Hair vacuums? Best if you can.
Hope this helps you. Good luck.

Rose...i will be going to my stylist here as i cant travel so i wanted to talk to her about it ahead of time. i'm getting the feeling little half inch or inch? baby hairs is the way to go right at the hair line. thanks so much for your input!!
Definetely baby hairs!! It just makes it look that much more natural. I also had my stylist cut then all along the ridge. I also had bangs cut. It's nice when I do an up-do to have some baby hairs to pull down to cover the edges. I also make it a point to look at other peoples' hair lines when I'm at the mall or somewhere like that. I realized that hairlines vary a lot from person to person.
Thanks sgomez!! I need all the information i can get! this group is great!
