Hey guys, how are you all?? All good for us here in Brissie =) Does anyone use moroccan oil on their piece? My girls Freedom has gone a bit frizzy and I brought some for myself and I was wondering if I could use it on her wig.......Cheers =)

Yes! Moroccan Oil is wonderful. Shampoo and condition the piece as normal and then apply a dime to nickel size amount of the oil and smooth over the hair and down to the ends. You may then style as normal. It also serves as a heat protector if you use blow dryer, straightener or curling iron. Good luck! (By the way, the shampoo and conditioner with the same brand name is excellent as well - I use all three on mine).
Best, Kim
Thanks ladies =)
Hi. I use Moroccan oil shampoo & conditioner plus I put a tiny drop on my hands and run them through my hair, especially at the ends. I know there are others that do this to keep their piece in tip top condition. If you are unsure, you could always speak to your rep. Incidentally how old is your Freedom and why do you think it has frizzed?
It's pretty much brand new - I'm 99.9% sure it's frizzy due to the way it was razored.....
Jojoba oil is a good alternative, less expensive. It has no scent, very absorbant and good for your skin also. Mix a couple drops with the conditioner in warm water, let the hair-not the cap- soaks for a few minutes, rinse. In between wash, put a few drops on your palm and apply to the tip. I like it much better than the Moroccan Oil.
The Morrocan line is AMAZING! It is lightweight, non-greasy and leaves hair shiny and soft. Love this line of products.
I think you are right about the razor cut, my first hairdresser did this and it went a bit frizzy. I hunted around till I found a hairdresser that had lots and lots of experience and had also cut a freedom and other wigs. Otherwise like your own hair you just need to find the products that suit your hair type, might take a few trys. Also when you get a new one those products might not work so well so will need to try different ones again (:
You know the crazy thing about who cut my daughter wig?? She also has Alopecia and wears a Freedom piece! I have found JUUCE Argan Soft Shampoo and Conditioner is suiting her hair at the moment :)
