Hi Dee, and welcome to our site!!! I am glad to meet you!!!

    Hi Dee,
I took a course in Web Development in college and used Microsoft Front Page to learn how to create Web Pages. It's really easy to use and will give you a feel for how to do it. Of course, you can also create a web page on sites like this and on MySpace that will also help you get comfortable with all the details of writing code!! Let me know if you need any help!!

Hi Dee,My step son live in Elizabeth Town Pa. and his brother owes a 2nd home in York Pa. which my husband is going to go to next week to help get it ready to sell.
  • Maureen

Wow that's really kool! I wanted to move to North Carolina, when my husband retired. But it isn't cost effective for us right now.
  • Laura Duksta

I started my company in 2001 called I Shine, Inc...I named it that because I had/have a best friend who transitioned(died) in a car accident and I say she is my angel by my side who reminds me to Keep Shining! It of course also works so well for those of us with bright, shiny heads and smiles ;-)
    You Shine!

HI, I thought we met you at the NAAF conference in Woodland HIlls are Oakland California NAAF convention. If we haven't we welcome you to our friends page.
  • Dotty

    Hi Dee,
Thank you for adding me to your friends. I hope you're going to Kentucky in June. I'm going to try my best to get there. Things are a bit tight for me these days as I am taking care of my sister's four children and that does tend to get a bit expensive...LOL I have been to the last 3 and absolutely loved them. If you were there, I am kind of hard to miss with all the tats on my head...lol.
  • Dee Connelly

    HI Dotty,
I think my husband and I met you at one of those conferences. We will not be able to go this year, my stepdaughter is graduating from college in California. I know it will be a blast, wish we could be there!!!
  • Janna

Hi Dee :) So good to have you as a friend! I'm glad to know another "grown up" who developed alopecia in toddlerhood. It interests me to talk to individuals who've lived their whole lives with alopecia as just another part of who they've always been. I find that most have the experience of alopecia onset happening in childhood through adulthood, and disrupting what they knew to be normal. I hope to talk to you about your experiences!

Hi, Dee. Thanks for writing. I went to a Bald Girls Do Lunch get-together a couple of weeks ago and Thea (its founder) referred me to this site. It's really impressive! It's so nice to know that there are other people out there who have the same issues that I do!!! Take care...Daria
  • Matt

Thanks! It's not nearly that warm here (it's about 36), but it's still a nice day. :)
  • Denise

My experience is limited since I was diagnosed with AA at age 45. My spots have filled in now. I hope to read more about your experiences to help me learn more about alopecia. So far, I get the impression that everyone is just guessing about this condition. There seems to be very little known about it.--Denise

I am so jealous, this morning we had snow that stuck. It was white everywhere, then by noon it was gone. It's supposed to continue this way all week. Enjoy your ride if you make it out!
