Hi! My name is Jacqui. I was born with Alopecia, and miraculously it has not yet progressed to totalis. I'm a pretty happy person. I currently manage a lovely art gallery. I am also a business student. Life is is great, I just have this little nuisance. I just clip on hair that I found on amazon : ) Works like a charm!
I've always painted or done some kind of art, ever since I was a litte girl, way before I got alopecia. I really don't have any stress around the condition any more, it's been so long. I wrote a book about it which I felt guided and inspired to do, and illustrated it with my paintings (If Your Hair Falls Out, Keep Dancing!). It has helped a lot of people, too. Love that!!! That's what I am here for.
Classical guitar -- how wonderful! I wish I could play guitar but alas, I don't have that gene.
Hello and welcome, Jacqui! How are you doing? So you are in a gallery in Bellingham? I'm an artist (www.leslieannbutler.com) and always looking for new representation. Just thought I'd mention it! Hugs, Leslie Ann

Welcome to Alopecia World Jacqui, I love the pics, especially the Wednesday Addams and the 1920’s look!
