I have had alopecia universalis only a few months. I'm a retired college writing teacher, currently freelance tutor. I love to hike and swim in open water. My goal is to learn to accept myself as I am, without being ashamed of how I look as a bald woman.

So glad you're here! I've had universalis for many years.
I wrote a book about it called "If Your Hair Falls Out, Keep Dancing!" It is for women to help them to accept and embrace who they are. Check it out on my page if you want!
