Hi Cathy,
We are originally from Northland, moved down here at the beginning of last year and loving it.
I am always excited and nervous when I get a new wig and am having it cut/styled for the first time.
Have had wonderful hairdressers over the years who have always done a great job.
They have always done the first cut with the view that its better to have the style/cut abit longer so it can be trimmed again if required rather than risking taking too much off, which has worked well for me as it takes alittle while to get used to a new hair style. My wigs have always been the longer length, so I end up not getting much trimmed of the length, just where its needed. Its mainly cut and styled in the front and sides with a fringe/bangs. (I am AU so have always had a fringe to cover this missing eyebrows)
Have a lovely time while in Christchurch and enjoy your haircut. Please let me know how it went :)
