I'm a 45 year old gay man with Alopecia Universalis.I was diagnosed with Alopecia when I was 18.It wasn't until I was around 23 that all my hair began to fall out.I went on to graduate from Art school with a B.F.A., in painting (1988).I moved from San Francisco to New York City and lived there for 7 years.I'm now back in S.F.There are still days that it is a bit weird being in public and having to deal with the stares, other than that I really have no regrets.I've been able to use my situation as a source of artistic expression.I'll update this later with some of my more memorable stories of co-exsisting in a world with people that have HAIR.
Are you age 18 or older?
